# Create Your Warfront Nations Account and Start Playing

> Register for Warfront Nations using your email or Google account, verify your email, and choose your starting region to begin your conquest.

Getting into Warfront Nations takes just a few minutes. You register with either an email address and password or your existing Google account, pick a starting region on the world map, and you're in. This page walks you through every step of the process so you can start your conquest without delay.

## Registration Steps

    Open your browser and navigate to [warfront-nations.com/register](https://warfront-nations.com/register). You don't need to install anything — the game runs entirely in your browser.

    Warfront Nations gives you two ways to create your account. Pick whichever works best for you.

        Fill in the registration form with the following details:

        * **Username** — your public in-game name that other players will see
        * **Email address** — used for account verification and password recovery
        * **Password** — choose something strong and unique

        Once you've filled in all fields, click **Register** to submit your details.

        Click the **Sign in with Google** button on the registration page. You'll be redirected to Google's authentication flow, where you can select your Google account with a single click. No extra form to fill out — Google passes your account details to Warfront Nations automatically.

    Before your account is created, you'll be prompted to select a region from a dropdown on the registration page. This choice places your nation on the world map and determines which territories and players you'll be neighbors with from day one.     If you registered with an email address and password, Warfront Nations will send a verification email to the address you provided. Open the email and click the confirmation link to activate your account. Until you verify, you won't be able to log in.

    If you signed up with Google, email verification is handled automatically — you can skip straight to logging in.

    Head to [warfront-nations.com/home](https://warfront-nations.com/home) and log in with your credentials or Google account. Once you're in, the new-player onboarding introduction launches automatically and walks you through the basics of the game interface.

## Choosing Your Region

Your starting region is more than just a pin on a map — it defines your early game. The region you select determines where your nation is positioned on the shared global map, which means it shapes who your immediate neighbors are, which territories you can expand into first, and which players or alliances you'll encounter right away.

If you already have friends playing Warfront Nations, consider choosing a region close to theirs so you can coordinate early. If you prefer to go it alone, pick a region that suits your strategy — some areas are more resource-rich, while others offer stronger defensive geography.

## Verification and Devices

**Email accounts** require email verification before you can log in. Open the link sent to your inbox to activate your account.

**OAuth accounts** (such as Google) are created as **active and pre-verified** \— you can log in immediately.

### Device Fingerprinting

Registration uses **device fingerprinting** (browser, OS, screen, language). A device fingerprint is required for normal registration.

When a known account logs in from both a **changed device** and a **changed IP**, the game may require **device verification by email**:

* The verification link is sent to your account email
* It **expires after 24 hours**
* It must be opened from the **same device** that requested it

## After Registration

Once you log in for the first time, Warfront Nations automatically launches a new-player onboarding introduction. This guided flow walks you through the game interface, explains your starting nation, and points you toward your first actions. The game tracks your progress through this introduction in the background so it picks up where you left off if you close your browser and come back later.

  You must be at least 13 years old to register for and play Warfront Nations. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement and agree to the Terms of Service.

## Forgot Your Password?

If you registered with an email address and can't remember your password, visit [warfront-nations.com/forgot-password](https://warfront-nations.com/forgot-password). Enter the email address associated with your account and click **Submit**. You'll receive a password reset link in your inbox — follow the link to choose a new password and regain access to your account.
