Account Data
When you register, we collect:- Email address — used for account verification, login, and important account notifications.
- Username — your chosen display name in the game.
- Password — stored securely using encryption. We never store or see your plain-text password.
Google OAuth
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not access any other Google account data. Google OAuth is the only third-party login we support.Device Information
When you log in or register, we collect a device fingerprint to help protect accounts from unauthorized access. This includes:- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Screen resolution
- Browser language
IP Address
If you log in via Google OAuth, your IP address is collected during the login process for security purposes. This is done through a request to ipify.org.Optional Profile Data
You may optionally upload a profile photo (max 5MB, JPEG/PNG/WebP) and write a short bio. This is entirely your choice — you can use the game without providing either.Game Data
We store your in-game activity such as wars, region ownership, chat messages, and game progress. This is necessary for the game to function.What We Do NOT Collect
To be clear, we do not collect:
- Your real-world location or GPS data
- Camera or microphone access
- Phone number
- Physical address
- Contacts or address book
- Data from other apps on your device
Cookies and Local Storage
We use only functional cookies — no tracking cookies:- access_token — Keeps you logged in for up to 7 days. This is a session authentication cookie with Secure and SameSite flags enabled.
- warfront-intro-state — Tracks whether you have completed the new-user onboarding so we don’t show it again.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the game is used (e.g., how many people sign up, which pages are visited). Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data such as page views and events. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using a browser extension provided by Google.Payments
Payments are processed entirely by Stripe. We never see, handle, or store your credit card number, bank details, or other payment credentials. When you make a purchase, you are redirected to Stripe’s secure checkout. We only receive confirmation of whether the payment succeeded and what was purchased.Who We Share Your Data With
We do not sell your data. We only share data with the services needed to run the game:- Google — Analytics (anonymous usage data) and OAuth (if you choose to log in with Google).
- Stripe — Payment processing only, when you make a purchase.
- ipify.org — IP address lookup during Google OAuth login for security purposes.
Data Security
We take the following measures to protect your data:- Passwords are encrypted — we never store them in plain text
- Authentication uses JWT tokens with secure, SameSite cookie flags
- Email verification is required before account activation
- HTTPS is enforced for all connections
